Pastor Loralie is the lead church planter of Hope Church; both Loralie & Dan serve as co-pastors. They’ve been married 37 years and have three young adult children—two sons and a daughter—and are grandparents to a 4-year-old grandson and a baby granddaughter.
Loralie has a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Studies from North Central University (Minneapolis) and an M.A. in Christian Ministries from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
Dan earned his B.A. from Central Bible College, and his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Ashland Seminary (Ohio). In addition to serving at Hope Church, Dan is a professor of Bible and homiletics at Northpoint Bible College in Haverhill.

Both Pastors Loralie and Dan are ordained assemblies of god ministers. gardening, spending time at the ocean, and “grandma time” with her grandchildren are some of Loralie’s favorite pleasures. Dan is a voracious reader, a very fun Grandpa, and an enthusiastic fan of college and professional sports.

Jason and Nelvi are native Bostonians who, after attending Evangel University, left city life behind in 2012 and made the Merrimack Valley their home. Jason is a worship leader, musician, and experienced ministry leader with a passion for small group discipleship. Nelvi is a board-certified behavior analyst and licensed social worker whose desire is to help improve people’s lives. They have a young son, also named Jason, who shows them every day what Jesus meant when He said to “become like a little child,” and the importance of stopping to enjoy nature. Jason and Nelvi are eager to walk alongside middle and high school students in their spiritual journey as they too seek God.

Sherri-Ann Smith, born in Jamaica and raised in NYC, is the happy mother of a beautiful girl. Family is very important to Sherri, so she enjoys spending lots of time with her daughter and extended family. Sherri, a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology (NY), studied computer science and currently works in robotics. She enjoys hiking, swimming, and reading. As our Hope Church Kids Church ministry leader, Sherri is passionate about getting children excited to learn new things about God!
